WEEKLY REFLECTION JAN 20-22

During these days we were assigned to be at school for doing our practical works . We were also able to collect data for project on the topic 'An Action research on the difficulties and incorrect use of pronunciation among Secondary students'(post test). Then we were able to correct the answer sheets of achievement test conducted on January 14,Tuesday, so that we made preparations for doing graphical representation and measures of central tendency based on students marks. 

WEEKLY REFLECTION JAN13-JAN17

I started off this week with the new lesson 'The School For Sympathy'.An innovative based lesson plan was also prepared by me based on this lesson on January 13, Monday. I could also able to conduct the achievement test on Tuesday,14 January. Later I completed the lesson on Thursday. Direct Instruction model was also taken by me on the topic 'Simple Present tense'. Sufficient teaching aids like CD,flashcards, activity cards were used to enhanced the teaching learning process.
     The second phase of School Internship Programme was thus successfully completed by me. The experience and lessons that I learned from this internship will definitely strengthen me in the process of becoming an effective teacher. 

INNOVATIVE LESSON PLAN

WEEKLY REFLECTION JAN 6- JAN 10

This week was the seventh week of the internship programme. On January 6th Monday, I conducted a conscientization programme on the topic "An awareness on Ecosystem".I have chosen VIIIC as the audience. I also invited our headmistress Mrs Asha George and our English teacher Mrs Sumam for the programme. It was a wonderful experience and I could able to perform it nicely.  As per the lesson template, I continued with the lesson 'A Day in the Country'.Thus I could able to complete the lesson on January 9. On January 10, I started a new unit V,Share and Care dealt with the theme need of love and care to the differently abled. All the necessary learning aids such as charts, CD, flash cards, activity cards were used for enhancing the quality of the lesson.

WEEKLY REFLECTION DEC30-JAN4

The school reopened on 30 December after the Christmas holidays. I dealt with the Advance Organizer model that day. The topic dealt was 'Personal Pronouns'.All the three phases of the model was completed within the correct time.I was able to take class using the model in a successful way.On 31 December I started a new lesson 'A day in the country '.I dealt with the first three paragraphs as per the lesson template. On 01 January ,we had classes. As it was New year,a special assembly was arranged by the headmistress. She wished everyone a happy and prosperous New year.Charts ,pictures, activity cards were used sufficiently.
